Pablo Druker


Pablo Druker was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2017, he was appointed as the new Principal Conductor of The Teatro Argentino de La Plata Orchestra in Buenos Aires.

Pablo has worked with several internationally renowned orchestras and ensembles including the Romanian State Philharmonic >Dinu Lipatti<, Orquestra Estable of Teatro Colón, Bergische Symphoniker, New Concert Orchestra Berlin, University Orchestra of the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, New Philharmonic Orchestra Westfalen, Ensemble Modern, Synergy Vocals, Ensemble Lucilin, Ensemble Süden, Ensemble Opera Nova, and Ensemble Sonorama.

Pablo has also participated as conductor in major music festivals such as Cresc... Festival, Contemporary Music Festival of Teatro San Martín, Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik, Klangspuren Festival Schwaz, and Colón Contemporáneo, where he has performed with leading composers and conductors including Salvatore Sciarrino, Steve Reich, Heiner Goebbels, Gerardo Gandini, Simon Steen-Andersen, Mariano Etkin, Carola Bauckholt, Santiago Santero, Enno Poppe, and Peter Rundel.

From 2015 to 2016, Pablo took part in the International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) in Frankfurt am Main. He is currently Musical Director of the Mobile Beats Ensemble, which was founded in 2016 by members of the Academy.

Pablo studied piano with Beatriz Tabares and Antonio De Raco, composition with Santiago Santero and Gerardo Gandini, and conducting with Mario Benzecry at the Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte (IUNA). He continued his studies in Germany at the Robert Schumann Hochschule under the tutelage of Rüdiger Bohn.
